I may be wrong here, but when the can says 29oz, does that mean there are 29oz of tomato sauce inside the can?? I was making a very specific recipe for canning & I needed a total of 32oz, so when I poured the first can into the measuring cup, it was 24oz, NOT 29oz! Thank goodness I actually measured! The second can was the same! What the heck!?

This tomato sauce is very cheap, but just too salty! We didn't like it and will not buy again. I will buy other brands which are a bit more pricey, but much better taste and less salty than this one.

I previously found the quality of this tomato sauce to be very good as I had most Good and Gather products but I am completely disappointed on my most recent purchase. The tomato sauce was very watered down and thin. I also had an issue with my latest purchase of the Good and Gsther medium pasta shells bring thick and gummy and not cooking up cooking up consistently done from one shell to the next. I hope thus doesn't mean they have decided to go with lowered quality to save on production costs for this store brand.

They raised the price on this product and also decrease the quality. It was good last year and I purchase to restock my pantry to find out it is now watery and lack tomato flavor. Even if the price is still low it is not worth the money to buy something with no taste or flavor for your meal.

I cant believe the price of this. Its a little thin, but you add some tomato paste and its perfect. I did onions in butter, for a few minutes then added some olive oil and garlic for a minute.. then added this sauce and like 3T of tomato paste and oregano, parsley and salt and a little sugar.. cooked for a few hours.. added some meatballs.. cooked another hour or so.. had an amazing meatball sandwich. Now Ill be making pasta for the sauce. Cant believe the price and I will buy it again.
