Bertolli Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce - 24oz

Good quality sauce in a variety of flavors.

I had tomato basil soup in a restaurant so I thought I’d try to make some at home.i used one jar of this +1/2 cup of heavy cream, heat through and serve with shredded Gouda cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches or toasted baguette bites!

This is my favorite pasta sauce. It's not too garlicky. Don't mind garlic but don't like it to overwhelm which is the case with some sauces. Nice chunks of tomato too. Love it!

So much flavor. Better than other sauces. Buy this sauce.

Coming from a full-blooded Italian family and being taught at the age of five how to make sauce homemade from Italian mother I've never been one to buy sauce and a can from any store never liked them never proved of them with that being said. Trying to hurry up and make dinner for my family and not having time to make something homemade from scratch I went to the grocery store and was looking at all the sauces in the cans reading them came across bertolli basil sauce I said okay let's try this and see what happens. I can tell you that your sauces and your noodles 100% have authentic Italian approval from this family the sauces and the olive oil to the noodles that bertolli makes as top of the line but this sauce in particular the one that I'm talking about the basil was my favorite I'm still in the middle of trying all the other ones so far I've never been disappointed but I am definitely a fan of this particular sauce it is spectacular it has my family's 100% approval rating. From one Italian family to another thank you for making my life easier with quality good ingredients and magnificent taste.

We’ve tried so many noodle sauce or spaghetti sauce in our lifetime. This is the only sauce that my 12-year-old will eat tomato and basil is the only one and he loves it … who would’ve thought.

Y’all this is so good. I had to stop myself from eating it with a spoon lol.

Price is great and value. You can add paste if it's to watery.

While, at 67, I may not be quite as strong as I once was having a nightmare trying to open this jar. Still with no success. That;s insane.

It’s simply the best I can even just eat some with a spoon it is that good a magnificent product buy it now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this sauce to try something new and it was pretty delicious. It reminded me of my mom's homemade sauce. The spices were good, maybe a little more garlic, but over all it was good. I would have preferred more chunky tomatoes, but the flavor was still good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I got this not too long ago and I can't say I have too many complaints. I like the basil as an added ingredient as I normally have to add it myself and it works well with spaghetti and I've even used it to make homemade pizzas. The only thing I disliked about it was that it has a slight sweet taste to it. I'm not sure if it's just me but every time I taste it I get the sweet undertones.

Okay but way too sweet
