My husband doesn’t really like spaghetti but when we use this brand sauce he’ll eat it. He likes that it’s not chunky. I like the jars I reuse them to jar things with.

I am a professional chef with 45 years experience. I don't claim to know more than anybody else but for the record I never liked tomato sauce homemade or jar. Well that's changed after I tested RAOS tomato basil. The sauce has the right balance of spices, salt and natural sweetness. The other tomato sauces I tried before all had THAT taste/flavor if you know what I mean. Sure it's pricier than other tomato sauces but you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. I don't have to add any spices to it it's ready to go. I also use it if I make a beef stew, a soup or a chili.

This truly tastes like homemade basil tomato sauce. It’s season perfectly and cand be used on any type pasta. If you add your own meatballs etc no one would know if your Italian mamama didn’t make it. I love it and I’m an old Italian mama. Lol

Opened up a jar of Rao’s Marinara sauce and noticed instead of the usual smooth sauce, this sauce had chucks of tomatoes and large wilted pieces of basil! Sounds like a jar of Tomato Basil was mislabeled?

I grew up with prego & decided to buy something better;now older. Although, I don't think it is better. I definitely was surprised flavour wise my first bottle & 2nd bottle. My 3rd bottle was off, most definitely. Bitter & salty. I decided to give it another try, 4th bottle. Found plastic in my sauce, and it had a musty flavour. Currently nauseous. I won't I'll be buying a 5th bottle. Was good while it lasted ://
