It weighed my 30 pound bag fine. However it would not give me a reading on the bags which were over 40 pounds. The whole point of buying the scale was to make sure we did not go over the 50 pound weight limit. Accordingly, it was useless.

Highly unreliable product as it does not register the same weight and even listed a higher weight after I took items out. It’s inconvenient that you have to hold it for a while to even register. Terrible product.

Terrible scale! I rushed to Target to buy it after another 3 luggage scales I had failed to work, and got the worst scale ever and the only one available. If you get it to weigh something, it will never show twice the same weight, if you don't get that lucky, it will just flash and blink on 888888 or 00000. I have the receipt and will return it today.

Terrible! Don't buy
It was TERRIBLE. Not even a hook. A little bent metal edge. And it won’t measure if you don’t move at all, which is near impossible with a 40lb bag. And it keeps dropping the back b/c the edge hook thing, doesn’t hold anything. Don’t waste your money!

Not worth it!
This thing is a piece of garbage. It was the only one available at our local store before a trip so we bought it thinking it wasn’t too expensive and couldn’t be that bad. It often just beeps and says 0.00 and the few readings it does give are nowhere near accurate. Don’t waste your money even if it’s the only one available. Just skip it.
