This ottoman fits the bill! My son loves to sit on it and read and my daughter loves to sit in front of her “vanity” and get ready. The gingham pattern is adorable!

I like the neutral color and that it can be used for a guy or girl. This vould be stored under a bed or in a closet since it is lightweight and squishy. Kind if like a beanbag but much firmer.

It has very nice fabric and great filling which holds up nicely when someone sits on it. It does not sink in and will hold a good amount of weight. The filling is similar to that of a beanbag chair. I love the tufted look of this gingham check ottoman. I would even use this in my home for a footstool.

It is incredibly lightweight—you can literally see my son holding it right up in the air with no effort at all. But even though it's super light, it's also really sturdy. It was so light. It’s completely filled with foam so I’m imagining after using it several times whether you’re sitting on it or putting your feet on it, it will break down very easily. Similar to a couch pillow.
