It’s gentle yet effective, making it easy to remove fleas and debris without bothering my cats. They actually stay pretty calm during grooming, which says a lot. The comb feels sturdy and comfortable to use, and it does exactly what I need it to. Definitely a helpful tool for keeping my cats clean and happy!

This works fantastic on all of my dogs, which all have different hair textures. It is a nasty flea year, so we are on high alert! This paired with a preventive is keeping my dogs healthy and happy!

This comb is hefty and well made, the body is a solid piece of plastic with the metal teeth well embedded in the plastic. As a pet owner with multiple cats and dogs that are inside and outside it is always a good idea to have a flea comb handy just in case flea treatment fails and they bring little friends home. I did test running it through both my dogs and cats fur and overall it comb through easily, no snagging on their fur during the process. My dogs are pit mixes and have very short somewhat course hair. My cats are all short hair but to vary degrees of thickness and the comb had no issues with any of them outside wanting to play with it. So overall if you are looking for a flea comb that will last this is a great option.

My doodle didn’t have any fleas that I could find, but I was able to get some debris/scabs that were trapped under his double coat. My only advice would be to ensure your dog is brushed if he/she has a longer coat, so that the comb doesn’t tug too hard on them. My guy was sleepy, so he didn’t mind it. I would definitely recommend this comb to anyone looking to keep their dogs healthy!

I like that the bristles don't get caught in Bolo's fur, and they are fine and narrow enough to actually pull out debris. The comb is easy to clean, I just wipe it down with an alcohol wipe between uses. Luckily my pup had no fleas, but I trust that this comb would help rid of them!

This is the same brand that makes awesome tweezers, they have a pet collection. And this flea comb is wonderful, efficient and works. The brush is sturdy, the metal comb brush is effective at getting the fleas and works for cats and dogs. This product is also veterinarian and groomer approved, ideal for all hair, fur and coat types and I love how well it works.

I love how there is barely any space between the bristles of this comb, it would be hard for anything to not get caught in it. I only had to go over my dog's fur once or twice to get rid of a couple of fleas and other dirt and loose fur also got swiped up. This would make just a great comb for a shedding dog too.

The fine bristles not only assist in finding and eliminating fleas, but also helps in the detangling process (short furs). Easy to clean and robust construction, this tool is a most have in our dog maintenance routine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are currently fostering a mama cat and her two 6-week old kittens. They were rescued from outside and did have a few fleas on them. This comb made it very easy to locate and remove those pesky little buggers! The comb itself is hefty, maybe even a little bulky, but still comfortable to hold. The ridged handle makes it easy to grip and hold onto even when my hands are wet. The closely spaced bristles trap fleas easily without yanking any fur. Once a flea is trapped, I just pick it off the comb and dunk it in a bowl full of water and dish detergent. They die within seconds. Any collected hair that does get trapped in the comb is easy to remove. (mainly undercoat that should be removed anyway) Our cats did NOT like our previous flea comb as it was constantly pulling their fur. So far, I haven't experienced any tangling or pulling with the Tweezerman flea comb!
