Description

Gently relieve mats, tangles and remove loose fur with our Dual Sided Detangling Comb featuring rounded bristle tips to prevent irritation during use while effectively combing through hair. Lightweight design is comfortable and avoids hand fatigue. Ideal for all cats and dogs. For best results, use after brushing fur with a slicker brush.

How to Use:
1. Brush through the entire body to smooth hair and remove debris using your favorite slicker brush.
2. With the Metal Comb start combing through the same areas to detect any remaining, stubborn or invisible mats.
3. Use wider teeth around the entire body and legs.
4. Switch to finer teeth around delicate areas like the face, ears and paws. Comb gently, facing the bristles away from your pet.
5. For stubborn mats, start at the ends and slowly work your way towards the root as the fur begins to detangle.

Tool Care:
1. To clean, start by gently pulling fur out of the bristles.
2. Wipe bristles using an alcohol wipe or soak the comb in a mixture of soap and lukewarm water. Rinse and leave out to dry.

    Amazing for cats!

Really hard to work with, barely detangled the matting and knots and a grumbling or two from the puppy. Then I tried the Tweezerman Detangling comb and it actually works! Cuts through the tangles, no discomfort for the puppy. It was so easy to use and does exactly what it says it does. If you are looking for a detangling comb look no further, this is by far the best detangling comb available!!

    Dual-purpose Durable Pet Comb

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tweezerman Dual-Sided Detangling Comb is well-designed and did a great job at combatting my doodle’s matted hair. I liked the variation in bristle spacing between the top and bottom of the brush; the packaging suggests using the thinner-spaced bristles in delicate areas like the face, but I also used it to tackle difficult mats with more precision. The only reason it doesn’t reach 5 stars is because the bristles bent when I was brushing some of the tangles in my dog’s hair. However, it was easily bent back into shape.

    Best comb ever!

This is so lightweight compared to the other detangling combs for animals, and the dual side works great for working hard to get tangles out, and then to finish up with a clean brush. It works fantastic on the shorter hair on my Aussies body, and even the very long tail hair. I absolutely recommend this to fellow dog owners/lovers!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a Tweezerman comb to test on my short haired cat , but to be honest, it didn’t blow me away. The comb itself is very well made, the metal teeth are sturdy, and the tips are neatly rounded, so it definitely doesn’t scratch the skin and doesn’t cause the cat any discomfort. However it doesn’t do a great job with its main task on short fur, it slips through the fur. The teeth are too long for short fur, so they just stroke the cat’s coat without catching the fine undercoat. I think this tool would be much better suited for long haired breeds or dogs, to untangle mats.

    This detangling comb works extremely well

My dog has alot of long hair that tends to get tangled very easily and this comb makes brushing through the tangles so much easier than the other brushes I have. He also likes to explore while outside and got alot of burs stuck in his fur and using this comb they came right out. I am definitely going to keep using this and will recommend to friends and family.

    Unexpected self care tool for pooches

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially, when I receive the product, I wasn’t sure how useful it would be for our dogs. Our dogs don’t have long hair so initially, I thought the comb would be a better fit for breeds with longer hair to help detangle and prevent matting. I quickly realized that this was a good tool to help, spoil and pamper pets with shorter hair. Tweezer man has always had good quality products for humans and it’s heartwarming to know that they are taking good care of pets now with their combs. I used this as more of a Gua sha on one of my dogs and so far it seems like it’s helped her relax a little bit more.

    Tweezerman Dual Sided Detangling Comb

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Tweezerman Dual Sided Detangling Comb on my cat and was impressed with how gentle and useful the product was. My cat usually hates being brushed, but this comb glided through knots and loose fur without pulling too hard or irritating his skin. It helped remove tangles and knots while still being lightweight and easy to hold. I also like that the teeth are spaced apart well enough to catch loose hair without getting stuck. The dual sided feature is nice and allows me to choose how far apart I would like the teeth to be to detangle or comb without needing another product. This comb is definitely a good option if you have a pet with medium to long fur that mats or tangles easily.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice comb as a last step to fluff/shape the fur. It has a "soft touch" plastic handle, good weight, and the tines feel very sturdy. I have a double coated dog so a shedding brush is definitely still required first, but this was nice for the fine hairs around her ears and fluffing her "pantaloons" after trimming. Overall I wouldn't say this is a necessary tool for basic grooming but for extra special days and pictures it would be nice to have.

    Takes time

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can only add 1 picture so I figure the after pic is best… we received this product a couple weeks ago but wanted to give it a real try. Our 3 pups took a while to get used to it but they thoroughly enjoy it now. This dual sided comb is great. The ticker side is used to detangle the bigger portions of hair and the other is to groom. If I’m being honest we did not have a comb like this or have used one like this ever. It is actually a great product once the pups get used to it.

Brushing my cat can get tiring with heavier brushes but this really makes the job feel lighter. It's definitely a plus that my cat loves to be brushed with this comb! I love that this has two different sized bristles and the bristles are perfectly designed to not irritate my pets skin. This comb not only helps gently comb out knots but it also helps get that second layer of fur shed that my cats experience. They absolutely love being combed with this and I highly recommend it. We use it on our large breed dog, two short hair cats, and one long haired cat.
