Nice set of grooming shears
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 13 pound Shorkie often needs touch up trims between grooming, especially around her face and eyes. I was excited to try this set because of the rounded tip scissors that I could use near her eyes — they worked well, and I felt more secure trimming her face and knowing that the rounded tip will prevent me from accidentally nicking her. I also really appreciated the thinning shears for those spots where her fur length varies, such as between her head and her body.

Great to have for grooming touch ups!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mini poodle’s coat grows like crazy and I was looking for a way besides just brushing to manage it between trips to the groomer. I love that this pack comes with three different types of shears which are great for grooming different areas. I was particularly wanting to trim around my dog’s face, so it was important that I have a round tip pair for that purpose. I ended up loving the thinning ones too because they don’t have a sharp point either.

I definitely recommend these
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As you can tell in the pictures, I have a Yorkie so we are all the time doing haircuts! These are fantastic. They work so good, I had another pair that I spent lots of money on and they did not do near as good. I am very impressed with these and I definitely recommend these! The haircut so smoothly

Nice variety of fur cutting scissors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked that this pack came with a variety of three different kinds of scissors. I groom my dogs myself so I use scissors a lot. These scissors got the job done but they don't seem very heavy duty. They worked for the little amount of fur I needed to remove from my dog. Next time I will try another type of scissors from the pack.

Not Sharp Enough For Yorkies
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Yorkie grows hair, not fur, so she requires hair trims for maintenance. I use vacuum powered clippers and grooming sheers to cut her hair down every couple months. Her hair is fine and soft, and grows quickly, so I'm constantly trimming her bangs, the area around her eyes where eye boogers collect, her paws and paw pads. I looked forward to seeing how this set of dog grooming scissors would perform. There are 3 pairs in this set - straight, thinning, and round-tip. The end of the round-tips weren't very sharp, and when used in the corner of my dog's eyes, required a few extra tries before they cut properly. Same with the straight scissors around the legs and paws, and the thinning scissors, they both required extra attempts before hair was cut. On fine Yorkie hair, this set wasn't able to trim very easily. My dog jerks her face and paws during a trim and having sharper scissors is vital. These aren't very effective and I'm not sure what type of dog hair they'd benefit.
