    Expired and old chocolate bar

    Purchased a large Twix bar at checkout and it's best by date was almost a year ago in July 2025, it was May 16, 2026. It was visibly not edible as it had a white cast to it and didn't look like a chocolate bar.

    Year old expired candy being sold at this location

    If I could give zero stars, I would. I purchased a candy bar and when I bit into it, it tasted so disgusting and was rock hard. When I looked at the packaging, I saw that both candy bars I purchased have been expired since August 2025…. It is now May 2026. When I went inside to return them, I was shown very little regard for eating expired food. I think that this is a serious matter and should have been handled better. I did ask for a manager I don’t know who I worked with and didn’t really seem bothered just asked if I wanted to exchange it… I shop at target regularly and spent a lot of money here and I will not be returning to this location or any target anytime soon.

    Even better refrigerated

    Twix candy bars have always been one of my top favorites over the years especially when refrigerated. Some chocolate just tastes better cold. I love how it has the perfect balance of chocolate and cookie crunch with the caramel as I'm not one for large amounts of caramel. It's one of those candy bars that's like having a cookie mixed with another dessert at the same time.
