Didnt work for me
I like the shape and ease of use but my skin is incredibly sensitive to these for some reason. I’ve had irritated legs for a week now.

Disappointing
This razor misses a lot! I hate to waste money so I’ve been trying to use it up but I am about to throw in the towel on these. The whole point of a razor is to get smooth skin and get rid of hair. This doesn’t.

It’s mediocre

I've been using these blades for years. I liked them because they were the smallest and most minimal of the Venus line (slightly less plastic), and they worked great. I recently reordered some and noticed the blade design slightly changed (there's a little metal strip on either side holding in the blades). I wouldn't care about that, except these new ones don't feel as smooth. I got terrible razor burn even though I didn't do anything else different. I used to recommend these, but not if they're going to be like this new design from now on.

Blade does not last long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Venus Smooth Women's Razor offers a close shave, leaving the skin smooth and hair-free. I’m not sure how much the moisture strips help to reduce irritation so I still use a gel. I like the interchangeable blades.

Great Razor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor was given to me as part of a voxbox. Gillette as a company is my favorite brand for razors hands down. This razor delivered, much like its other ones. This is a three blade razor which I found to be very efficient due to its sharpness and ease of grip. The way they created the razor made it super comfortable to hold and maneuver. It’s soft and feels luxurious. I usually use a five blade razor but found this to be just as good. I didn’t end up cutting myself which is always a huge part of how I choose razors. Ultimately this is an amazing razor that provides a close smooth shave without nicks or cuts. Price point is very reasonable and definitely worth the quality.

Scrapes my skin rather than shave the hair
This razor gives me the worst razor burn. It scrapes up my skin even with a fresh blade. The blades are virtually useless after a single use.

Be assured this isn't the experience we expect you to have, so please discontinue using your blades. Typically, razor burn is caused by dry shaving, shaving with too much pressure, or using a dull blade. It's always best to use a pre-shave, warm water, and shave using light and gentle strokes. When the blade starts to feel dull, move onto the next one. We're sure you're doing those things already, but we find it unusual that your blades are only lasting one shave. We'd like to make a report to our Quality and Safety Team as this isn't something we take lightly, and help. Please call us at 800-445-5388.

My favorite razor!
Gillette Venus Smooth Original is my favorite razor for many years! I love it so much! Although marketed to women I use it unisex. The product quality is good and the result is a super smooth clean-shaven skin with no irritation. I like the reusable handle to reduce waste.

Its sharpness lasted throughout the trip and even made it back home, tackling all a razor would need to tackle for a hair free 2 weeks at the beach! Love this brand and this razor and will continue to buy them long into the future! The amount of time they last without getting gross or rusty or dull supersedes cheap throw away brands 10 fold…making them well worth the money! Love love love!

Smooth shave with no cuts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this with me on a recent work trip, and thank God because the one from the hotel is the usual cheap razor. I used this on my legs, and it offers one of the smoothest shave there is. I forgot my shaving cream, but I just used a shower gel, and going through my legs is just so easy. No irritation and no cuts, just smooth silky legs for days. I highly recommend!

The Perfect Razor!

Venus razor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blue strip does fade easily, despite that I noticed it still works decently enough that I’m still hanging on to the same razor head. I do recommend this product and will be purchasing more razor heads for it. To note, I usually always knick myself while shaving and I haven’t done that yet with this razor.. Hope I didn’t jinx it.
