A: The stainless steel used in these Venus blades contains slight traces of nickel. However, the exposure to nickel from razor blades made to Gillette and Venus's specification are essentially zero. If you have a nickel allergy and are concerned about using Gillette Venus products, please check with your doctor or other medical professional first.

These Gillette Venus sensitive disposable razors work great! The 5 blades give a really close, smooth shave, and the moisturizing strip helps prevent irritation, even on sensitive skin. They’re comfortable to hold and last through several uses. A bit pricier than some others, but totally worth it for the quality. These are the only types of razors I use!

I normally use a safety razor but I'm still a bit anxious to use it on my body, and these razors did decently enough. I used them on the bikini area and was pleased to find there wasn't really any problem with razor burn or ingrowns after. The gel/lotion gets goopy and gross after a while but these are meant to be disposable anyways, so I'm not pressed about it. Overall decent razors and at roughly $5 each I'd buy them again.

I don’t know why Venus decided to change up all their razors and come out with 10 different styles. I was trying to buy the regular disposable ones like they used to have but these suck! They don’t have a close shave like they used too. Very disappointing.

While we're sure you do this, try soaking in a bath of warm water, apply a pre-shave, and shave against the grain. This may help get you smooth results.
