The pillow has a fairly low profile and a wedge shape, so it is really comfortable to sleep on while not hurting your neck. This pillow has been particularly useful since surgery on my upper body, as it makes it very comfortable to sleep on my back without being too high up. At first, I put a soft pillow on top of it for that extra height, but now I don’t need it, and I can even sleep on my side. Normally, I like to sleep on a soft, down pillow, so I am surprised at how much I like this one made of memory foam. It is still very soft to sleep on, just different, and the gel foam is actually cooling. It fits properly into a standard-size pillow case. I highly recommend the Vibe Smart Edge Multi-Position Gel-Infused Memory Foam Pillow!

I was a little confused by the shape at first, originally sleeping with the pointed side pointing toward my body. This made my head feel like it was sliding down the pillow. So, I flipped it around so it supported my neck. I feel the pointed edge is better suited for the body than the head. Definitely would be good wedged under a pregnant belly or between the knees.

If you're a sensitive sleeper you'll understand. Ive had multiple pillows over the years, standard and memory foam, and didn’t know what ive been missing until this vibe memory foam wedge pillow came into my life. Im a side sleeper, stomach and occasionally back sleeper, so i like the versatility this pillow brings. It allows me.to adjust to have more or less pillow height, or use to rest my arms or legs when side sleeping. It is SO. SOFT. It feels like a gentle, supportive marshmalllow. I actually noticed myself relaxing immediately when my head hits thiss pillow, and falling into a deep, restorative sleep faster. I am the lightest sleeper I know (hypervigilance), and this pillow helps me feel safe and relaxed. Its been ten years since I found a favorite pillow, and now this is it. I literally bring it with me travelling, on trips or to my partner's house, because it is THAT good. This probably sounds like hyperbole, but legit this is the best pillow for me, someone who needs a "goldilocks" zone pillow- not too soft, not too firm, not too flat and not too tall.

The pillow is slanted so one end is thicker than the other . This is nice for reading, the slant on the pillow allows for a nice surface to put a book on top of if you put the pillow on your lap while lying down.
