• La centralidad de la Palabra: Dios se ha revelado a través de un libro que podemos entender y que contiene todo lo que necesitamos saber para nuestra salvación y crecimiento espiritual.
• El privilegio de la oración: Dios quiere escuchar los anhelos más profundos de nuestro corazón--nuestras penas y alegrías--y desea usar nuestra intercesión para cumplir Sus propósitos en el mundo.
• La necesidad de constancia: Dios es la fuente de toda sabiduría; Él conoce nuestras necesidades y nos invita a permanecer en Él continuamente, sin depender de nuestra propia fuerza y entendimiento.

• The freedom of transparency: God calls us to come as we are, right now. We don't have to feel like it or even pretend we do. He's always available for us and His loving arms never turn us away.

About the Author

Posee una licenciatura en Biología química y clínica por la Universidad de Sonora y un diplomado en estudios bíblicos del Instituto Integridad y Sabiduría. Actualmente es becaria consultora en la organización Blueprint 1543 y co-lidera el proyecto Deep Training for Wider Impact, una iniciativa de integración entre fe y ciencia auspiciada por la Templeton Foundation.

Reside en Ciudad de Guatemala junto a su esposo y sus dos hijos.

Ana Ávila is a Mexican author and Christian communicator. She wrote Aprovecha bien el tiempo: una guía práctica para honrar a Dios con tu día (Make the Most of Your Time: A Practical Guide to Honor God with Your Day) and serves as a senior writer at Coalición por el Evangelio, where she has served for more than seven years.

She has a degree in Clinical Chemical Biology from the Universidad de Sonora and a diploma in biblical studies from the Instituto Integridad y Sabiduría. Ana is a Consulting Scholar in the organization Blueprint 1543 and co-leader of Deep Training for Wider Impact, an initiative integrating faith and science sponsored by the Templeton Foundation.

Ana lives in Guatemala City with her husband and their two children.
