Scam/Negligent Employees
Upon opening the card, we were baffled to see that the last 8 serial digits were scratched off as well as the security code on the back. Immediately I went back to the store we got it from and after speaking with 2 associates, they couldn’t provide any help and didn’t really seem to care much. As I was walking away, I heard the female associate telling the male associate that this was the second instance today of altered got cards being sold. I was stunned that they were aware of this issue and continued to sell the gift cards. When I confronted the associates about what they had said when they didn’t think I could hear anymore, they were rude, careless, and blamed me for not calling visa. If the store had taken proper steps after first being aware of this issue, I wouldn’t be having to deal with this, and my son wouldn’t be without a birthday present. I am very upset about this and my son is heartbroken.

Inconvenient
Got this card today and activated it. When I went to use it for something that was $60 I was declined. I then called the customer service to tell me this card has been declined and that I now have to wait 7-10 business days to get my $100 back and that there is no way of getting my money back any earlier. Very inconvenient. I will never purchase one of these again

SCAM, do not buy!
I'm very disappointed because I bought it as a gift and the card was defective. The card seemed fine before opening, but once opened, the last four numbers of the card and the security code were scratched off. Target doesn't solve the issue, it just starts a case and doesn't help you with it. I lost money, and neither the company that makes the card or Target do anything about the issue. They should stop selling them because someone is messing with them prior to selling them. I only gave it 1 star just so I can leave my review to help others not get scam. It's sad because in previous years I had bought them and never had a problem, very disappointed.

Do not buy this prepaid Visa card. I’m out $106 of my hard-earned money, and I’m absolutely livid. The card doesn’t work, and when I called the customer service number on the website, all I got was apologies with zero solutions. No refund, no resolution — just a runaround. This is a scam, plain and simple. Avoid it at all costs.

Scam
The card does NOT work! I tried adding it to mobile wallet/ using it online and it keeps declining and tells me to contact the bank. I did and they said to wait 2 hours and even after that it still declines!!

Chose email delivery and it said it was sent at 7:58 on 7/7 still no email. Tried to contact Target Support and they just told me it wasn't eligible for returns. I wasn't asking to return, I haven't received it 😞 They also couldn't give me a contact of someone from the company who could help me track it or verify the email was sent.
