Information was somehow stolen electronically, as I gifted this to my mom and the same day she tried to use it in California, someone made a transaction for the full $100 in Massachusetts, so she was unable to use it. I am now attempting to resolve this via the card website mybalancenow . com

I purchased one of these in the Egift card format and they have obviously made some bad changes to this card because it is impossible to get it to work at almost every merchant I try. It constantly decllines with no reason and I have the funds on it. Customer service is non existant or does not have an applicable option to choose,. When I found a way to reach a human it said they were unavailable and to try back later. This ist he worst Visa Egift card and I will never but it again. DO NOT BUY it is such a hassle to use that it is worthless. Shame on Target for selling this card!

Went to use my $100 Visa gift card and found out someone in another state had already used it. It had not been opened or tampered with so must’ve been an inside job. If the fraud cannot be controlled on these cards, they should not be sold in the stores. Now I’m out $100 with nothing to show for it. Infuriating!!

Purchased this and tried to use it a few months later, but someone else had already used it several times in another state. The package had not been tampered with so must be an inside issue. Now I have nothing for my $100 purchase. Thanks Target!

If I could give this zero stars I would. Online purchases are rejected, which is the entire reason I even bought this gift card in the first place. I should have listened to the rest of the reviews. Don’t waste your money because you won’t be getting it back when the card doesn’t work.

I just purchased this card and every transaction is more than it’s supposed to be. I just spent $50 at a restaurant and I asked my card but the car says I spent $60 instead of 50 and then it reflects to $60 being spent in my balance. They will not let me speak to anyone while I’m unable to speak to anyone.. do not get this card it’s a rip off!! None of my transactions are correct.

These were great until they weren’t. Have purchased for gifts and other occasions. Most recently purchased a $100 card, tried to use it and security code and last 4 were scratched off. This was done PRIOR TO packaging!!! Part of the packaging was still sticking to the card with adhesive over the portion where the security code was supposed to be. Was told investigation into the matter could take up to 30 days by customer service. It only took about 1-2 days for me to receive an email update and now have to wait 7-10 business days to receive a new card in the mail. If you can avoid, please do. If you need to purchase or are simply inclined, proceed with caution and if you purchase in person, peek under the liftable portion of the card packaging to be sure numbers are not scraped off. Giving multiple stars because I’ve had several fine experiences with these cards up until now.

DO NOT BUY THIS CARD! I am stuck with 2 gift cards that I can’t use for some reason. It declines all my transactions but when I check my balance, everything is there. How are we ever supposed to use our gift card!?

This Visa e-gift card is only usable with Target. Don't waste your money buying this and paying the $6.00 fee for it, when you cannot use it anywhere else. I attempted to use it with Amazon and other places and it was declined each time. I called and was told it was only usable on Target's website. If I had known that, I would have just bought a Target egift card and saved myself the fee. What a rip off!

Don’t waste your money on these cards. They are a scam. I was gifted a card and cannot use it. Call the customer service number on the back and they were no help. Don’t BOTHER.

Definitely a scam. I gave two of these as graduation gifts in May. Imagine my embarrassment when someone told me they didn't work. The recipients themselves didn't tell me anything and tried to call Visa themselves to address it with no luck. It sounds like Target doesn't do anything to fix the problem, just tells you to call Visa.

If I could put 1 star I would. I normally do not make reviews so please note it was a total disaster with this purchase. I bought this in store thinking nothing can go wrong. But no, the number were scratched off from the card it comes in. Unfortunately Target doesn’t help and you have to call the number on the back to help you. Well I did that and guess what? I have to wait almost 2 months for I can get one mailed to me. I’m out $100. I hope this review saves some of you.
