Q: Do not buy these cards. I just spent an hour online with the card company. They can add your address, but the card still declined. A refund for the card takes 3 weeks!

A: These cards have gone down the tubes! They are NOT accepted anywhere visa is. CS via phone/chat is useless. I keep getting multiple declines to this day when there's plenty of funding on the card.

WARNING: DO NOT BUY THIS VISA GIFTCARD I purchased several Visa gift cards for my business and IT WAS A MISTAKE. I have not been able to use these cards anywhere online, ANYWHERE, which should be stated in BOLD on the packaging. Moreover, one of the cards was blocked even though it said active. I have not been able to use the card in person either. After several attempts at calling, they have automated responses that do not give you the option to contact a live person at 1-877-867-4873, I was able to find a different number. I got in contact with someone that barely spoke English. I was informed that the card was blocked due to security issues caused by several declines. Why didn't a message state this when you log in or call to check the balance? Then, I was told that a new card would have to be mailed out, which takes 7 to 10 business days. Why they can’t unblock the card? This experience has been unbelievable and I find it hard to understand why Target allows such unconscionable business practices. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE THESE VISA GIFT CARDS AGAIN – YOU ARE WARNED. Oh, they anticipate so many problems with these cards that when you call or log in to check the balance, you hear and see “Report a Problem” because they already know these cards have many problems. The holiday season is coming up, so don’t think it won't happen to you. AVOID THESE CARDS LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Do not buy this card!!! I tried using it at multiple locations in person and online. I bought $750 worth of cards and they do not work. I went to Target and they said there is nothing they can do. They said this happens a lot and it is out of their hands once the cards leave the store. So the manager and employees know the cards don’t work but they still sell them and will not give people their money back. Completely unethical and frustrating. Do better Target.

I got 2 e-gift visa cards. They work with my digital wallet. At first, it kept being declined when I was adding it to Google wallet. So I had to call the card servicer. Getting in touch with them was a little difficult. They don't have a prompt to speak with a live agent. Anyways, when I finally got thru, I explained what was going on and that it wasn't fraud. After that, I was finally able to add the card to Google pay. And I have been able to pay with it perfectly fine.

I bought 2 cards as gifts totaling $400. I gave the gifts to the recipients and when they tried to use them they were declined. We called the number on the back of the card and were told that the cards had been compromised and were no longer valid. Target refuses to help because the cards were “ecards” and delivered to me. Since they were delivered to me it’s “no longer their problem”. I literally wasted $400 on nothing with no assistance from the card issuer and Target. Disgusting customer service. They are thieves.

I am unsure why there are bad reviews for this gift card. I ordered a $200 dollar gift card through email delivery and it came within 15 minutes of my purchase. I was able to add it to my apple wallet without any issues and used it for my in store purchases. I would definitely reorder again if needed.

I don’t know why it has so many bad reviews because I didn’t have any problems. I bought 2 it started working after an hour and I added the second one to apple wallet no problem.

Bought and it was imediately locked, the support number told me it was becasue I checked the balance twice within an hour on thier website. Target states they aren't involved, go away, and the card merchant is a scam call center designed to keep you going in circles. AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

These do not work!! I purchased this and no matter where I tried to use it, it was declined. I reached out to target who tells me to contact the fit card company. That company tells me to contact Target. Now I am just out the money I paid with no one helping me at all. This is not ok.

Do not recommend. I have tried to use this card at 5 different places today and it is declined every time. And target before you reply to call the 800 number I have and you can't speak yo anyone and it's useless so I'm just stuck with a $200 card I can't even use.

If i could give no stars I absolutely would. Good luck using this giftcard literally anywhere. Declined by Pathward everytime you try to use it and the scummy website lists a number for help that you call and get sent in circles for. Do NOT purchase this!!!! It’s a scam.

I purchased this Visa card to make payments on Amazon, but it kept getting declined. I checked the user reviews here to see the same issues happening to others. Fortunately, I found a solution for myself. The card was somehow accepted on BestBuy. I purchased a $200 giftcard via BestBuy's website without taxes. Otherwise, I don't think this Visa is effectively useable. Be sure to upvote this review if you find it helpful!

Don't buy this! I bought it for my husband to use throughout the week for his running around, it should be able to be used as soon as I purchase it ...well I can't because the security code upon taking it out of the secured package is completely scratched off and the magnetic strip won't swipe. The last four digits of the card number is also scratched off. I tried it numerous places and it will not work, I then tried to add it to get food online and other online accounts but I can't since the security code is missing. The package was completely intact with the pull tab being brand new and I'm confident this wasn't tampered with by a customer or anyone at the store level...this is a screw up by the company. I called the customer service number on the back, who is obviously located in India and they told me they would need to investigate and would send me a replacement card that would take 7-10 days. This was a $200 card bought off the shelf from Target...I needed this money now not 7-10 days from now! Hopefully the new card shows up but in the meantime I'm out $200, absolutely ridiculous! Come on Target, do better!

Target should consider taking this out of the store. Bought this as a gift for my husband to purchase baseball tickets only for it to decline and when I called it says it was used in California at a grocery store. I live in Virginia, filed a claim and even that seems like a scam.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. They mailed me gift cards that were not activated. I then had to prove through receipts, my drivers license and fill out claim forms, that I had in fact purchased them. It takes up to 45 days. Target does not back it up, this is a third party and while you wait, you’re just out the money. I had given it as a gift and I was mortified when it didn’t work. The company never responded to my emails and only after contacting their Facebook page, they escalated my concerns. They did apologize and acknowledged it was their mistake, but it took over a month and a ton of time spent. Buyer beware!!!
