It probably could hold some devices besides a phone, but I'd be cautious about buying it specifically for a Nintendo Switch or tablet.
The product description only says it"holds most smartphones vertically or horizontally" and the stand itself is quite small at about 3.9" high x 3.5" wide x 4.9" deep.
