Wall Sconce with Horizontal Arm Brass - Threshold™ designed with Studio McGee

Not too sure why there aren’t more 5 star reviews, so let me add mine. I ordered these sconces almost a year ago. (Still look so beautiful) They are absolutely stunning in person! Much larger than you’d expect. Thankfully mine arrived in mint condition. You have the option to either hardwire them into the wall, or plug them in instead. I do need to pull the cord more straight to make it look perfect against the wall, and at some point I’ll hardwire them but for now I just have them plugged in. They’re elegant looking, and the gold tones add a beautiful warmth and elegant touch to my bedroom. For the price, I think these are absolutely perfect! I added dimmer light bulbs to my lights where I can choose to dim them or make them brighter at any time. (Bulbs can be found anywhere) I say buy them! If they don’t work, return them. As an Interior Designer that understands the market on light sconces like these, they are more than reasonably priced. Easily these go for $150-$300 a piece At McGee & Co or Pottery Barn for example. Overall (from my experience) Quality, 10/10 Looks, 10/10 Price, 10/10 Installation, 10/10

Cute style wise but very cheaply made and poorly designed. Came with scratches. Shades cheaply put together. Does not sit flush with wall (had to use clear bumpers to keep it from wiggling). I like that the shade arm swivels but honestly feels like it’s going to fall off. Good neutral light.

I could deal with the fact that it’s not entirely flush with the wall (per other reviews) but one of my two had visible “stripes” on the lamp shade like it had been burnt by the bulb. I decided to order another one to trade out with it and that lamp shade is the same… I don’t have the first two boxes so not sure if I can return. Such a disappointment after looking for bedside sconces for several years…

Flimsy, does not sit flush with wall.

Thought these would be SO cute but they BOTH came damaged :( The gold paint on one has multiple chips all over the entire thing, to the point where it looks textured. The lampshade is broken off of the other. Additionally, they only attach to the wall with two screw in the middle of the circle. This makes it so the light isn’t flush to the wall and keeps teetering. I followed the instructions to a T and tightened the screws with a drill. I usually LOVE studio McGee products and was so excited to snag two of these these but honestly, I’m disappointed

This item does not sit flush on the wall and leans forward. I would expect more from Studio McGee. I have already mounted on wall so now I need to figure out my next step.

These are pretty and a great value BUT the backplate does not sit flush with the wall. It makes the whole thing flimsy and obviously cheap. We have other wall mounted sconces in our house and all of them have three screws to attach the face to the backplate - one on each side then one on the top. That top screw is critical, it’s what holds the weight and keeps it from tipping forward. Very disappointed in the execution of these, Target. Even more disappointed that I have a giant hole since these are going back.

Great quality, but larger than you’d think! Measure for your space! But truly great product for the price
