Q: I need a single layer for king bed for Summer when 4 months the temp stays 95° or higher in Texas. Just for the looks above the cotton blanket. Will it be good ans not too thick ?

Q: Is this a lighter weight quilt, suitable for summer use? I live in WI, where it can get to 95 degrees or so. We tend to leave our ac off unless the nights get warmer than 80… will this be suitable?

    Better quality than most quilts costing double

    The quality of this quilt is higher than others that cost twice as much. The cotton feels great. We have had it for two years. It's mainly for guests so it doens't get too much use but I wash it a lot (pet hair) and it looks and feels great, wash after wash. Colorfast. Highly recommend.

    Ok but smells!

    The quilt itself is really well made, heavy, and soft. My only complaint is that it smells soooo bad! Really heavy chemical smell. I hope washing will relieve it of the awful smell. But honestly, as strong as it smells, I doubt one washing will suffice. My worry is that I bought it for my daughter that has eczema and I don’t know if I can get rid of the smell without heavy scented detergent. Definitely going to be a two-washer.

    Absolutely disappointed. I've always liked threshold brand, but I got this quilt for my son and it's the worst purchase I've ever made this quilt is hard and uncomfortable and it attracts every piece of lint possible. It's brand new and after 2 washes it looks like it's been through it. I'm absolutely disappointed and I'm so upset. It is not worth the money and I do not recommend.

    it said light brown for the color, but its like a rusty orange color. the color in the picture is totally a different color shade than it actually is! I dont mind it, but I wish I was more brown tint than orange tint

    I was a little surprised at the quality of this quilt. The stitching was amazing (stitching lined, to keep the batting intact) The thickness is just what i was looking for. The material is cotton and is soft and comfortable. This quilt will be softer after each wash, and will have a feel like "lived-in" style. Really nice, and i am impressed.     Nice quilt, great price.

    Bought it on sale for $32! It’s 100% cotton which is impossible to find at this price. It’s not fancy. It’s a solid color (khaki) with quilting rows about 1” apart. It’s very soft and comfortable. I washed it before use according to directions and it came out great. No weird odors, no bleeding, no pills or fabric damage. At this price it’s a great deal.

    Great quilt! But long drying!

    Got this to add some character to my bed and it works great! It feels nice in weight and doesn’t feel too hot in the summer nights. Only issue is with drying the quilt. It take several cycles to get the thing dry but what can you expect from a bedspread this big!

    Beautiful color and all cotton filling

    This quilt is a beautiful shade of dark teal blue with a nice sheen to the cotton. It’s not sateen like polyester satin but rather like cotton sateen sheets. It’s so hard to find a 100% cotton quilt with all cotton filling, especially Oeko-tek. Love the weight and breathability. Such a great value for the price.

    Good product quality not super soft

    Good look and durability but if very soft is your goal this may be a little stiff.. in that sense I recommend washing and adding 1/2 c baking soda to the wash and that helped and can rotate with 1/2 c vinegar too! Love the elevated chip modern design!
