A: Hi! We have some simple tips from our blog. 1. When the grill is cool, brush or scrape off built-up carbon on the underside of the lid. 2. Brush the cooking and charcoal grates to remove the leftover debris from your last grilling session. 3. Use a scraper to chip away any hard-to-remove debris on the inside of the bowl. 4. Make sure to empty the ash catcher - ashes left sitting in the ash catcher can promote corrosion. 5. Use our exterior grill cleaner to clean the outside lid and side tables of your grill.

Q: Does this grill have a warming rack? What about vents on the sides?

A: Hello VicE, this model does not feature a warming rack, nor can one be added. This model does not feature side vents, instead, the vents are located on the very bottom of the unit, as well as a vent located on the lid. Thanks!

Great little grill. Smaller version of the ones I grew up with. Great for 1-2 people or for a day outing. I only wish the grate was a bit tighter to the kettle, it moves around a bit but doesn’t fall through yet.

I LOVE MY SMOKEY JOE GRILL! This is my 4th one. Had one for the ski condo, another for the beach and vacation destinations, and my 2nd one for home (after 11 years, it was time to get another. Not because there was something wrong with it, but my wife told me to buy a new one). I've been a loyal Weber customer for well over 30 years and I know quality when I see it. All my Weber grills have lasted for many, many years including the ones I bought for my kids over a decade or more ago. And, just like the Smokey Joe, those gas grills are indestructible. But, as for my "baby Weber", you just can't beat it, and very portable. I would recommend the Smokey Joe BBQ to anyone who enjoys charcoal barbequing and all the other reasons I previously mentioned. Keep up the good work Weber! 👍

it's just easier to use and keep clean. Had the big kettle for as far back as I can remember, my first one was back in the eighties, early eighties. When we moved three years ago I gave up charcoal and tried a gas grill. Didn't like it, Decided to go back to charcoal, because we are retired low maintenance is first requirement. Smokey Joe is perfect thank you.

Great little grill. I also have 2 pellet grills. One is a big 1000sq. In grill the other is a small tabletop. Those are difficult to get a nice char on burgers and such. This little smoky Joe is the ticket for just my wife and I. If something happens to the big pellet grill I will be getting a nice Weber to replace it. Love this little grill.

This Smokey Joe replaces a decades old one which collapsed when one of its legs rusted. This new model’s legs appeared to be thick aluminum so rust shouldn’t be a problem. Perfect size for the 2 of us.
