It is not at all overwhelming. I have very fine long hair that needs a good bit of conditioning. I found that this conditioner gives me just the right amount. Because my hair is fine, some conditioners weigh it down and make it look flat or greasy. But I did not experience that with this product. I would not call this a deep conditioner. It’s more of an every day or a few times a week conditioner. If your hair is extremely damaged you may need something heavier. But for me, with the hair I have right now, it was perfect.

I have been using this conditioner for my co-wash along with shampoo when I do shampoo. It is has been great. My hair don't seem to be fading as quickly as other times I dyed my hair. Also I have curly hair and it makes my hair so easy to come through and doesn't dry it out.

You may still need a conditioning spray after you shower if you have a lot of knots or your hair is really curly. That being said, I would recommend this product and I think its best considered a reinforcement product not a conditioning product in the traditional sense. I love the smell. It is super overpowering right out of the bottle, but once you use it and rinse it, its super mild and goes well with any other product lines you might be using on your hair.

This one was moisturizing, but it smells like men’s cologne. I like scented products, this was way too strong and masculine leaning for me personally. I’m going to let me son use the rest of it.

I have tried numerous shampoo and conditioner combos that promise to help with this issue!. I am really enjoying this new Wella color care conditioner. First of all, as I was applying it I noticed that it smells incredible.! It goes on very smooth and silky. I’ll leave mine on for a couple minutes before rinsing. I usually have a hard time brushing my hair out because of the length. This product seems to make it softer and easier to detangle. My hair color looks more vibrant than before! I appreciate this formula being anti porosity! It actively seals the hair cuticle to keep artificial colors, trapped inside the hair shaft. So that makes sense while my hair looks more vibrant! This conditioner is doing what it says it will do. I will definitely be repurchasing and adding the shampoo to my routine.
