Description

ZWILLING Pro is the most user-friendly knife available to market. The unique blade shape and ergonomic bolster are the result of years of experience in knife making, and the rigorous study of how knives are used. A unique curved bolster supports the professional pinch grip, with thumb and index finger on the blade, for safe cutting and less fatigue. The blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The full length of the blade can be used when cutting and can be sharpened from bolster to tip Designed in Italy by Matteo Thun and made in Germany by ZWILLING J.A. Henckels, the company that sets the standard for exceptional cutlery worldwide. The ZWILLING Pro 10" Ultimate Bread Knife features scalloped serrations to ease cutting, minimize tearing and crumbs, and to maintain lasting sharpness.     I recommend this knife

    I love this knife! It’s incredibly sharp, well balanced, and slices effortlessly through my sourdough loaves. What I love most is that it doesn’t catch or snag on the crust. It makes clean, even slices without crushing or tearing the bread. I feel completely in control using this knife.

    Sharp no doubt. The serrations make it want to curve if you are cutting into something dense, so care to watch for that is essential. Like it nonetheless

    Have had several different bread knives over the years, and this is by far the best. Love the 10 inch length, plenty of surface to cut through huge loaves, as well as tort all types and sizes of cakes for finishing. The scalloped edges, are far superior than the traditional serrations I've used in the past. No more ripping or tearing, the blade just glides through and the results are impressive. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best bread knife out there.

    Heavier bread knife

    10 inch Bread Knife

    It’s a bit bigger and heavier than anticipated. I would choose the 8 inch for home use. That said, like all your knives it cuts hard bagels and crusty bread with ease!
