Clearblue Advanced ovulation tests detect two fertility hormones: luteinizing hormone (LH) and estrogen (E3G).

They typically identify four or more fertile days in a cycle, reporting both High fertility days and a Peak fertility day(s).

A blank circle indicates Low fertility; a flashing smiley face indicates High fertility; and a steady (static) smiley face indicates Peak fertility.

The tests are described as over 99% accurate at detecting the luteinizing hormone (LH) surge.

You can use the test directly in the urine stream or dip the test into a urine sample collected in a clean, dry container.

The ovulation test shows a result in about 5 minutes. The included pregnancy test can show a 'pregnant' result in about 1 minute; wait up to 3 minutes to confirm a 'not pregnant' result.

The pregnancy test sensitivity is listed as 25 mIU/ml. It is described as over 99% accurate from the day your period is due and can provide results up to 5 days before a missed period, with about 56% of pregnancies detectable 5 days before the missed period.
