GG Shrimp frozen jumbo shrimp are sold in 1-pound and 2-pound frozen resealable bags.

The shrimp are listed at about 26–30 shrimp per pound.

Refrigerator thawing takes about 12 hours. For portions, cold-water thawing takes about 10–15 minutes. Drain the shrimp before cooking or serving.

Cook thawed shrimp about 4–5 minutes in a skillet, or boil until the shrimp are fully cooked and opaque.

Keep the packages frozen until use. The product instructions advise not to refreeze once thawed; refrigerate and consume promptly. One cooked-product note indicates consuming within 24 hours.

Cook to an internal temperature of 145°F as measured with a food thermometer.

Suggested uses include sautéing in herbed butter and tossing with linguine, adding shrimp to a stir-fry, serving thawed with cocktail sauce, or pairing with steak for surf-and-turf.
