gothic temporary tattoos

Common motifs include skulls and skeleton hands, bats, haunted houses, witchy cats, jack-o'-lanterns, RIP or single-life artwork, and spooky sayings—styles aimed at gothic or Halloween looks.

Pack sizes vary widely: individual sheets may be sold singly, while bulk packages commonly range from about 72 or 84 tattoos up to 144 tattoos per package.

Some Halloween and gothic tattoo sets are advertised as glow-in-the-dark; for example, at least one listing describes a glow-in-the-dark set containing 144 temporary tattoos that glow after exposure to light.

There are special FX wound transfers that create realistic animal-attack or gory wound effects. Descriptions note these designs were created by Hollywood artists, apply with water, and can remain on the skin for the day.

Lightweight costume and party tattoos are usually described as lasting for hours and washing off with soap and water. Some special FX transfers are described as staying on all day and may require baby oil or rubbing alcohol for removal.

Listings promote these tattoos for Halloween, parties, trick-or-treating, cosplay, school celebrations, bachelorette and bridal-party favors, and as goody bag fillers or costume accents for photos.
