insulated coffee thermos

Insulated coffee thermoses commonly range from about 10 to 20 fluid ounces. Typical sizes you’ll see listed include 10 oz, 11 oz, 16 oz, 18 oz, and 20 oz (US).

Retention varies by model. Hot retention is commonly reported around 3–7 hours (many listings cite about 6 hours). Cold retention is generally longer, with examples ranging roughly from 8 up to 18 hours (several listings show around 12 hours).

Age and use notes vary by product. Some items list recommended ages such as “3 years and up” or “16 years and up,” while toddler straw bottles may show “18 months+” and often include a warning that they are not for use with hot liquids. Always follow the product’s specific age and safety guidance.

Thermos bodies are typically stainless steel (often specified as 18/8). Lids and some components are commonly plastic or polypropylene, and many listings note BPA-free parts.
