Kits include a mix of board sizes and shapes — examples list large square boards (~5.8 inches), smaller 3‑inch boards, and shaped boards such as hearts, circles, hexagons, stars and squares.
Common accessories include tweezers, ironing paper, templates and pegboards, plus a carrying case. Some sets also add storage containers, pattern booklets, cellphone straps and small hooks.
Kits target a range of ages — some are labeled "All Ages," while others recommend "4 years and up" or "6 years and up."
Descriptions indicate the pegboards are made from plastic designed to withstand the high temperatures used for ironing and to resist bending or warping during the process.
Activities help build fine motor skills, hand–eye coordination, color recognition, creativity and imaginative play.
Many kits include printed templates or pattern booklets and numbered color templates; examples list sets with eight or twelve templates alongside guided pattern booklets.
