Lifelines FlowArt: Dot-By-Letter, Landscapes

I wish I could give this a 5 star, but my biggest grievance is you can still see the letters beneath the dots, which makes me really sad. It is so easy and fun to use, and has an incredibly slick storage system for the markers that clip onto the backside of the notebook. My brain was very calmed while filling in the pages, but it just couldn’t get over the disappointment in still being able to see the letters through the dots.

Bought this on a whim and I have been loving it! Instead of sitting on my phone, I have been doing pages of these and it is very relaxing.

These are fun, but the markers leak and change shades when they’re outside in the heat. I wouldn’t recommend traveling with them. Three of the metallic colors in the sea life edition look very similar and I easily mix them up, but I love how it completely covers and hides the letter. The wave picture shows how the same orange marker changed 3 different times. I only used 2 different markers. 1 was teal and the other was orange. The temp change, changes the color.

This craft helps me not pick my face at night when I have lots of anxiety and need to do something repetitive with my hands. I would highly recommend for anyone with bodily focused repetitive behaviors.

I had never tried anything like this before but had heard of paint by number so this seemed like an easier alternative. I thought the booklet was easy to follow and appreciated that they included thorough instructions as well as colorway suggestions. I appreciated the design of the book including easy storage of the markers on the back and the inclusion of a artwork protector sheet. I enjoyed doing a few designs while listening to an audiobook. I would recommend this product as a great hobby or mindfulness activity!

It's not like traditional coloring where you need to focus and have tons of colors. It was very relaxing to pick a few colors and zone out dotting away. I would say it's similar to the diamond art with less tiny pieces to get lost. The pad is pretty sturdy to use anywhere especially on the couch or in bed. It comes with 4 double-sided markers in a convenient storage cap that clips on to the back of the pad so you won't lose it on the go!! I liked how the markers have a flat side making it easier to hold for long periods of time, and they won't roll away when you put them down. The blunt marker tips make transitioning from small to larger dots a lot smoother. Trying to pick what colors I wanted to use at first was a bit overwhelming, but the QR code was extremely helpful, it brings up a few suggested colors for all of the pages, which gives you a better idea of what each image is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been really great for something for me to focus on and do at night when I’m trying to wind down. The packaging is great, as the markers attach directly to the back. They easily stamp so you don’t have to press hard. They don’t have any smell to them. My only thing would be to make sure it dries before moving to the next spot, as you can see, I smudged some of the blue dots with my hand.

I love how the markers connect on the back for easy storage. The flip book is easy to use and the pages are different scenes that come to life when you add your colors by letter. We’re always looking for something new when it comes to art and we’d never seen anything like this before. It’s been a hit!
