Q: How do I get it to stick?

A: What I did is dipping my finger in water and simply tapping on the spot I wanted them to stick, they dry faster than it says on the packaging so it helps. However they do separate quite easily

To make a Clay Character Plastic Bucket Kit stick, lightly score the surfaces you want to join with a sharp tool, then apply a small amount of "slip" (a thin clay slurry) to create a better bond; essentially acting like a glue between the clay pieces. A: Ours lasted about 5 days closed before it turned hard and opened it lasted 3 hours before it dried.

Disappointed
This product is listed as 3 years and up which I can say after trying to make this with my 3 year old should be marked at 4 if not 5. Attention span and impatience. The clay is not that moledable either I tried to make a few by myself and this is difficult. The clay mashes too easily making you have to restart and starts drying out too quickly.

My 5-year old niece and I love crafting and spent a rainy Saturday afternoon making the cutest little animals with this kit! The clay is not the “usual” dense molding clay you’ve probably used before, but it works just as good!! It comes with lots of colors and instructions on how to mix two colors together to make any missing colors. It does come with tools—rolling pin, cutting and shaping tools. Some of the animals are more difficult than others to make but most are pretty easy. Let your creation sit overnight to set and they are pretty solid. Hours of fun!
