A: The instructions are only on the app. It does provide a QR code so that the instructions are free with the kit (normally they cost $5).

However, there are a few steps you will need to take beforehand to ensure a smooth offline experience: 1. Download the application. 2. Open the app, log in, and configure your settings. 3. Activate any new or currently inactive sets. 4. Download the content for the characters and go through all the instructions for each one. Once these steps are completed, the app can be used offline. Requires an app! In app purchases too!
The point of crafts projects, at least in my home, is to get the kids off screens, but the instructions for this are on an app! Secondly, and even worse--the app only includes instructions for one of the pets, all the others cost $5 each!! Ridiculous price gouging. Just buy your kids some clay or a Mini Clay World kit from Klutz which inlcudes dozens of different instructions in each.

This is a box of clay with a code to use on an app. The app has instructions for different things. To view the instructions on the app, you’d normally have to pay $5 for the lot. HOWEVER, there is a code inside the box that makes this set of instructions free. It’s a really fun craft!

Great clay to use, and great tutorial, but disappointed that only one tutorial (the cat) is included…the others animal tutorials cost $1-$2 each to download. The extra cost is a real disappointment for the price paid for clay.

I randomly saw an ad for this while scrolling on ym phone and bought on a whim as a birthday present for a 10 year old girl. It was an instant hit. Perfect to clay any way.
Whenever I buy doh for my kid, I always worry about two things – for it to not be dry (it’s happened many times) or hard (when you knead it and it doesn't knead). In this set, everything is in plastic containers, which is very convenient (I assume it helps prevent accidental opening and drying out). And it feels really nice, not too sticky, does not get stuck under your nails. It keeps its shape well.

Cool App kids friendly
Don't skimp -- grab this set! I was skeptical about the price, because for this money you can get a lot more. But what's the point if everything ends up in one big pile? With the Hey Clay app, my little one has made every animal from the set and continues to make mice, but with different colors and ear shapes. It's very inspiring when your child really starts to create!

Perfect quality, good price, nice pets
The animals on the box are very cute, but it's really hard for children to make them exactly like the ones in the picture without help. We always sculpt together and I help to correct small details. But regardless of the result, it's always fun. If you start modeling, finish the figure (the clay dries quickly, so be careful). But if you wet your hands, you can extend the modeling time.

We gave this set to our nephew for his 6th birthday. It's good that you can sculpt the pets just like on the pack, with all the details. Especially those tiny black pupils. Great value.

We just discovered the Hey Clay Fluffy Pets set, and wow, we didn’t know anything about Hey Clay before this!!! My daughter and I instantly fell in love with the adorable characters on the packaging... so cute!!! I was kinda worried about the clay getting all over the furniture and clothes, but, surprise—it wasn’t sticky at all and smelled really nice too!!! After a visit to her grandparents in the countryside, my daughter wanted to make a rabbit, just like the one she saw hopping around there... She spent hours on her creation, so happy and proud!!!! The claying process was a straight joy, thanks to the app that comes with the set. It has step-by-step instructions that could make a sculptor out of anyone, even someone who can usually only clay a ball (like I am)!!! It’s more than just a toy—it’s a perfect way to bring those sweet countryside memories to life. We're totally in love with Hey Clay now!!!
