This was fun. The materials are good quality and the instructions were easy to follow. I have been doing embroidery for 25 years so maybe I just knew how to handle the materials. Threaders break all the time if you put too much trust in them... It is labeled Intermediate, so to the beginners, maybe don't get this one.

I’ve gotten a few different embroidery kits and this one was pretty good. The threader broke but I had another one I was able to use. And it was annoying getting the bag into the hoop due to the zipper but after that it was fine. All other materials seems on par for the price and in comparison to other kits I’ve gotten.

The supplies are low quality. The threader broke on first use, the needle isn’t the best for threading without a threader. The thread is fuzzy, low quality. HOWEVER, this is a lovely beginner kit. I bought it for the car while my husband drives. I’ve also taken it to urgent care when I had to wait for hours on end. Fun to have. I would get a couple better needles and a better threader for anyone purchasing this kit at a beginner or if you’re not a beginner expect to use what you have on hand. I would buy another kit for the preprinted pattern and the bag or whatever. Next time I would consider choosing my own thread and using the thread that comes with this for another project not requiring needlework.

This kit was so fun! As a beginner, this was a cheap way to see if I liked it. I think where some went wrong is that you have to separate each strand of floss into their individual strings. Each strand has 6 strings.

The eye of needle was so small it was near impossible to thread, then literally broke the fifth time. I was using the needle threader appropriately. Also they tell you two use 2 threads at a time, but I can’t see how it’s possible to get the level of detail in the picture on the front that way. You can see how bulky and running into each other my patterns are; for the 2 leaves near the needle threader I used one thread and it’s much better. The instructions are minimal and this is definitely not for a beginner.

This is a great kit. It has everything you need and easy directions. I watched videos on how to do each stitch as this was my first time embroidering. I had so much fun learning each stitch and seeing the results. It turned out beautiful. Disregard the negative reviews. This is a wonderful project and great gift to give.

The stitch instructions are basically nil. It took me about 20 minutes to get it placed in the ring because of the zipper. I’m tempted to return it instead of trying due to other reviews of material quality and already being annoyed before even starting.

Only wasn’t a fan because this was something I’ve never done before and zipper got in the way of the hoop.

I received this as a gift so I’m determined to complete it, but I would not be if I had purchased it for myself. I wound up using my own needle because the one it came with was garbage. I wound up using my own thread because the thread that it came with was garbage. I wound up using my own hoop because… well… you get the idea. Garbage. If I were a beginner, this kit would probably discourage me from ever picking up an embroidery project again.

Very easy direction for first time stitch kit. The experience was very fun! They provided extra threads, and I found the needle to be very sturdy. The only negative is that I finish the project and need to purchase a new kit.

The needle broke almost immediately and then the threader did, too, when I tried to use it to thread a needle I had laying around. Had I not had my own needles, this kit would’ve been useless. The instructions are also difficult to follow and not beginner / kid friendly— the instructions aren’t very clear, helpful, or easy. I regret spending my money on this- I should’ve just bought the pieces separately.

Easy to follow instructions, nice slow project to work on! Needle is a little bent already, should include two just in case. Also needs an iron on or some type of backing if it’s going to be a functional bag-something I’ll do myself before giving this to my daughter. Love it. First time embroiderer and enjoying it.

The needle broke while trying to thread it, didn’t even get to do one stitch. And no back up needles included so now I can’t even start it unless I go out to buy a needle… looks like it’ll be pretty if I ever get to actually do it now

Needle didn’t have a hole to thread, so useless.

Needle eye broke after less than ten stitches.

Needle threader broke in 5 seconds. Needle broke in 2 minutes. Very cheap. Very flimsy.

The threader immediately broke, then the needle eye shredded the embroidery thread. Hopefully I will have enough for the project using a different needle because that thread is now useless.
