Philips WiZ lights connect directly to your existing Wi‑Fi—no hub or gateway required. To set them up, plug in the light, download the WiZ app (iOS or Android), and follow the in‑app setup. Once configured you can control lights locally or remotely from the app.

WiZ lights are available in tunable white (warm to cool white) and full‑color models. Some products focus on a wide range of white color temperatures, while others offer millions of colors and dynamic color effects for scenes and mood lighting.

Across the WiZ range, brightness typically falls between about 300 and 800 lumens, with energy use shown from roughly 6 watts up to 16 watts depending on the bulb or fixture form factor.

WiZ lights support scheduling and automation for daily or weekly routines via the app. The app also provides energy‑consumption records you can view as daily or weekly reports to help track usage.

WiZ lights offer full‑range dimming controlled through the app and by voice. They also include ready‑made presets and scene modes, and some models provide preset 'wellbeing' features that adjust color and brightness throughout the day.

WiZ RGB light strips use individually controllable color segments to create dynamic effects (chasing, fades, sparkles). They offer over 16 million colors plus shades of white and support app control over Wi‑Fi, voice control, scheduling, smart dimming, and Matter compatibility where indicated.

The wireless room‑level remote provides quick on/off and brightness control, a night‑light and four favorite modes. It controls all lights in a room with a wide range (about 15 m) and can operate even when Wi‑Fi is down.
