Love that these bulbs are customizable it’s so difficult to find a warm light bulb that’s also a led anymore. Just wish there was a way to default the color to stay the same.

Waste of money - inconsistent!
The app for this item is terrible. I don’t understand why they chose to not be a little bit clearer with the toggle feature so you can tell what routine/schedule you have selected, it would just be so simple for them to make the toggle feature show green if you have a schedule enabled. Also, my lights will consistently not turn on when I’ve set the schedule up. I always double triple check before I go to bed that I’ve set the correct time and the correct date and I have it toggled on (even though it looks weird), but consistently the light won’t turn on in the morning. I’m writing this review after yet another day where the light doesn’t turn on. I wish I could just take it back and get my money back but it’s past the deadline. I’ve had been having these issues for months now. It’s not the Wi-Fi, because the Wi-Fi is on, so I think it’s just an inconsistent product. I do not recommend.

The lights work fine, but the app for the lights is why I’m giving these lights a 1 star rating. The app always has connection issues, rather i’m on wifi or using my data. The lights are controlled through the app. I would recommend finding lights with a remote instead of an app

Questionable
Worked great for a few an hour then the one bulb completely shut off. Tried a different light bulb in its place, that light bulb worked. Did a switch between the two light bulbs the working one worked, but the one that shut off continued to not work. Definitely not an app issue, and read online that this brand and bulb is notorious for defective bulbs. So just beware. Looked awesome for the hour it worked. Really sad it did this though.

I use these bulbs in all my lights and sync to my google home. I love the different color options and brightness choices. I have had them for a while and haven't had them burn out. Pro Tip- Scan the QR code on the bulb before you put it in the light fixture lol

TARGET FAILS TO DELIVER CORRECT PURCHASE
My purchase order was for GE CYNC Smart A21 bulbs. Target sends/delivers A19 bulbs. The difference is significant in lumens. The A19 is roughly equivalent to a 60 watt bulb, whereas the A21 is equivalent to a 100 watt bulb. So, because of Target's incompetent delivery I now have to drive into town, which is a 45 minute drive to the only Target store in this part of the State..

Dumb lights now
They disconnect so easily now I've been getting these for years and planned to buy them for my whole house when I moved but they stopped connecting to my phone they've turned into normal lights and some that I bought the app can no longer even recognize so those turn on whenever they feel like

you need 2.4GHz wi-fi to use these bulbs! beware that 5GHz doesn’t work for these particular bulbs!

Useless as a "smart" device
Constantly losing connection to home controller. Ceases to be a smart device when I'm reduced to using a wall switch to control them. APP stability and support area failing GE.

Nice, but not easy setup
I wouldn't say they were easy setup I had to call tech support to get them going and it was quite a involved process but now that they're set up running them through my Alexa is easy peasy but set up was not easy

Full color light bulbs
I have smart lights and can use my Alexa to operate them. I decided to try these Cync full color bulbs to try them out and give it a go. Result, very happy I did, bulbs have a vast array of colors, set up is a breeze through Alexa and when I turn on my stereo system, these bulbs "dance" to the beat of my heavy metal music! You can have Alexa set up different color combinations for leaving your home, returning home, getting up in the morning and going to bed at night and then turning them off. Very nice purchase, definitely worth the money and I would definitely recommend these lights. Set up in minutes and have a blast!
