I’ve tried a lot of different smart‑bulb brands at all kinds of price points, and these were definitely on the spendy side. They went on sale, which convinced me to give them a try — and I’m glad I did, because the setup was one of the fastest and easiest I’ve ever done. They connected to HomeKit immediately, and I love that I don’t need a separate app like I’ve had to use with other brands. Everything works directly through Apple’s Home app, which makes controlling them so much simpler. The only real drawback is the code situation. Most other brands print the QR and manual codes directly on each bulb, but these don’t. Instead, the stickers are stuck to the lid of the box, so if the bulbs get moved around or put back in the wrong spots, the codes no longer match. You have to be very careful when taking them out, because once they get mixed up, it becomes a frustrating guessing game trying to figure out which bulb belongs to which code. I even had to return one box because the codes were mismatched. Functionality‑wise, they’re fantastic — fast setup, smooth performance, and I love being able to dim them to any color palette to match the mood in each room. I absolutely love this product, and I would’ve given it a full five‑star rating. But since there’s no 3½‑star option, I settled on four. The missing printed codes are the only thing holding it back from being perfect. Pro tip: label each bulb with its matching code using a Sharpie so resets don’t turn into a scavenger hunt.

Love these smart bulbs! Easy to set up and I love being able to change the colors, brightness, and mood of a room right from my phone. The voice control is convenient too. Fun, practical, and a great way to change the atmosphere in any room.

If I can give it zero stars I would. This app is not compatible with anything really disappointed it will not configure with any telephone. FEIT is a way better lightbulb and cheaper.

Great light, but if you’re buying them just to use with Alexa, don’t! You can only set up two before Phillips requires you to get their app and use it to control the lights instead of Alexa (Alexa can only control up to 2 of the Philips lights).

Has been working for years. If you plan get a lot of these, then you might need a stronger wifi router that can handle the traffic. Best way to get colored bulbs at a bargain price. Use the Wiz app instead of Google for color accuracy.

These bulbs are absolute junk. They don’t stay connected to Wi-Fi no matter how close they are to the router, and the app (Wiz) is a nightmare to use. You cant use the Hue app. I spent more time trying to reconnect them than actually using them. I expected more from Philips, but these are a total letdown. Avoid and look for something more reliable.
