Q: Because it is dimmable, can it also be used in lamps with a 3-setting brightness switch?

  • A: Unfortunately, no. You would need a 3-way bulb in order to switch between the 3-setting brightness in your lamp.

Q: Some LED bulbs can not be used in closed fixtures due to heat, etc. Can this bulb be safely used in an enclosed fixture, or open lamps/fixtures only?

Break within 12 months.

After using these for a few years now, I have become fully comfortable climbing a ladder to change bulbs every few months. These will barely make it through a year. They always burn out without a fail. Do not recommend!

Phillips LED bulbs

The adjustable brightness makes a great difference. I need it bright without the intense blue hue that causes migraines. I wish the bright light was traditional white not blue but it works.
