  • A: From the enclosed assembly sheet, when using LEDs: For larger shade a 3-Way (NOT a single watt bulb) maximum wattage of 6/13/18.5 is suggested. For smaller shade a 6 or 9 watt LED bulb is suggested.

  • A: 150watts Refers to using an incandescent bulb, (that is very hot.) a 9 watt LED bulb will not get hot at all. (about twice as hot as old nightlight)

    At the time of purchase, there was nothing in the product description stating that a 3-way bulb is required. Afterwards, I saw that a customer noticed this as well in the Q&A. It is printed on the box but that is only if you saw it in person. So, I had to make another purchase for this special bulb. The shades are very thin and the stand is tightened together in segments. This is my main complaint: the top bulb is always unscrewing! It seems any movement of the stand can loosen it! This impacts the wattage and won’t turn on on the lowest. For the long-term, I wouldn’t recommend it, but for an immediate need—if you have an unused 3-way bulb—this is tolerable.

    We bought two of these. One was defective in box and had a missing piece. It was a sealed box, but perhaps an open box at one point made to look like it was new. I have to return the one, but the other one is working fine so far. I appreciate that there are two knobs to turn the lights on individually. Not every light with multiple bulbs offers that option. For the price, I feel like it's good quality.
