  • A: 150watts Refers to using an incandescent bulb, (that is very hot.) a 9 watt LED bulb will not get hot at all. (about twice as hot as old nightlight)

submitted bybviner - 2 years ago

  • A: From the enclosed assembly sheet, when using LEDs: For larger shade a 3-Way (NOT a single watt bulb) maximum wattage of 6/13/18.5 is suggested. For smaller shade a 6 or 9 watt LED bulb is suggested.

This lamp is just what I've been looking for! The downside is that the lightbulbs cost just about as much as the lamp. I didn't know lightbulbs were so expensive.

    Great bargain.

Easy to assemble. Great value. For best operation, purchase 3-way led and 800 lumen led lamp. The lenses are plastic so cool led lamps are the safest choice.

I like it but it's not the correct color

I like this lamp and was looking forward to having it in my livingroom. I purchased it in silver. Got it home and put it together to find out that the color is not silver but a grey. Just be careful when you purchase this thinking your getting a certain color.

    Frustrating!

Two pieces of tubing would not thread together, even after 10 minutes of multiple attempts. Too much work and frustration. I’ll return it and look for a higher quality product.

I bought two lamps and both covers for the smaller lights do not fit properly. The screws cannot fit through the cover opening to secure it to the lamp causing it to hang on the light bulb.

    Needs bulbs!

Great for dorm room and like the adjustable lower light, and three way upper light- add at least $20 for bulbs though- not the great price it looks at first!

    Stupid Design

The smaller lamp shade does NOT fit onto the lamp. I had to use a KNIFE (and nearly cut myself) shaving the hole just so the ring could fit through, and after a painstaking 20 minutes of shaving it down and finally fitting the ring through, it WON'T EVEN SCREW ON. It screws on WITHOUT the shade on but the shade stops it from going on all the way. So now the smaller one is useless unless I duct tape it to affix it on. Horrible.

This is a good value for the cost, and was relatively easy to assemble, though the instructions could have been clearer regarding seating of the lamp shades. The cons: this is very flimsy with a thin column and tips over easily because of its height (over 6 feet) even though the base is heavy.

    Save your money.

Garbage, plastic... I was seriously appalled this would cost more than $10. I didn't even have the recommended type of bulbs, so if you really need this lamp, check wattage. Plastic lamp shades, even the base is weighted plastic, messy white stuff all over the bottom so bad quality control makes me feel I cant trust this product. Simple way to make your home look extremely cheap.
