Best light bulb ever
I love this light bulb! it has the choice to have different levels of light ie;100%50%10% it also has both types of white ie; bright led white or the warm old school dimmer type! plus some fun colors to set different moods! the VERY best part is the remote control so I can turn it off after I get in bed!

good for old pull chain fixtures

DISSAPOINTMENT
A total disappointment. I was excited to purchase this light build bulb and it did not work. I installed it on my lamp that I bought specifically for this light bulb and it did not work. The remote control did not work at all even after removing the battery protector film AND buying a new battery to replace the on that it came with.

Do not buy.... Fake 5 star reviews.
The app is trash. Never works have to uninstall it and reinstall it for it to work. Do not buy these light bulbs. They are trash. The app is garbage GE should be embarrassed!!!!!!!!

The lightbulb is great but the remote does not last. The little plastic breaks off. We have gone thru 2 remotes, but still on same bulb. I don't want to buy a 3rd bulb, just for the remote.

The remote is abysmal but the bulb is cool
They advertise a 13 year bulb but give you an utterly atrocious remote for it. I would pay double if it came with a dependable remote. I've had this since October and have enjoyed it until now. Maybe I can turn the light off today and maybe I can't; enjoy remote roulette. Also, their (GE) website is horrendous. While the bulb is a rare bright spot, the remote is so shockingly bad, it ruins the entire experience. The remote is infuriatingly bad. I cannot believe how poorly made it is.
