GE Remote Included LED+ Speaker and Color Changing Light Bulb

I bought multiple of this bulb because I could change color and use one remote for all of them. The syncing on this system is garbage. Many times a week, when I turn them off, one or more of the bulbs won't turn off, then I have to mainualy turn them off and turn them on later just to sync them again. Many of the lights are hard to reach, so it can be real pain when they don't work. The sync even affects when I want to change color. If you buy one of these bulbs, only buy one.

Liked it but couldn’t get the bulb to stop flashing and it didn’t last long. I had it for a few months and the speaker doesn’t work. Too expensive for this to happen.

You just need to download an app and then get it connected, very simple! I love listening to music when I get ready or w podcast while I take a bath!

I still think the idea is very cool and definitely worth exploring more and I also think this would make a very good gift especially if you’re buying for a person with a small space. The biggest problems I have with the Product is that, while they offer the functions of a speaker and smart lightbulb, it doesn’t accomplish either very well. I did not see any options for smart home integration beyond the proprietary application, nor was the speaker very loud or high quality. It could be a function of my light fixture and the placement of the light itself but I definitely feel like I have better speakers and colored smart lightbulbs without the need to combine the two. I do like the idea; I would be willing to add a whole star just for more robust smart home features. However the middling speaker quality would also have to be addressed in order to make this a perfect product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bulb is a good bit larger than a normal light bulb and may poke itself out of a smaller lamp but in a larger lamp the shade should be larger enough to hide it all. We put one in the table side lamp and are able to keep the volume down on our TV while watching from the couch but still be able to hear. Such a fantastic use. The sound is clear. The lights are fun but we have not really found ourselves using it for the colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this light bulb is funky! We did not hook it up to a sound system, but used it strictly as a lightbulb. The remote works very well and there are a bunch of options. The colors are wild to look at and each one could help create a mood. It is also very easy to change colors or go back to soft white. Even though our lamp is not a dimmer type of lamp, the remote allowed the bulb to dim itself a little, which is a nice feature. We might hook it up to a sound system at some point, but for now, we are going to leave it as a light. It is definitely an experience and very cool!

The party mode is so fun to have on at night. It give our room nice ambiance whenever we are snuggling or just watching movie in bed. LOVE IT!

I put it in my kitchen to help with my cooking jam sessions and make it easier for me to hear my Kindle when I watch shows in there while I'm cooking. It was super easy to connect to my Kindle and with one button I can switch it from the sound coming from my device to the sound coming from this snazzy speaker bulb! Most of the time I keep it on white light, but sometimes when I am jamming out to something while cooking or cleaning, I have a little fun and turn on the lights! It gives me a few minutes of joy to forget my worries and get lost in the music for a moment! I love how easy it is to set up, and the remote makes it so easy to control as well. It's also nice that you can sync it to other bulbs in the house!

I tried them out inside and they work great! The sound quality is full and clear, and having it come from the lights in the room gives it a unique ambiance. The biggest plus for me is that I don't have huge ugly speakers sitting around while I'm looking for ways to disguise/hide them. Really cool product - can't wait to use them this summer!

It's cool because one of these bulb speakers will connect with another one so you can make surround sound. I don't like that everytime you turn it on it blinks to show its connecting to Bluetooth but otherwise it is pretty fantastic!

The sound is pretty good for such a small speaker. It has a cute party feature that would be fun in a family room. The light changes colors to the beat of the music. It was super easy to sync it via blue tooth to my phone.

My husband and I put these lightbulbs in our nightstand lamps so we can listen to music or podcasts while we do chores or wind down for bed. The rechargeable factor is also great! Technology has come so far! I’m still learning how to control them separately, but they were so easy to plug in and sync. The party mode is really fun! Also love the dimming feature!
