Lasted 10 months
For a bulb that costs over $18, I expect it to last more than 10 months. The claim on the package states that it should last 5 years based on 3 hours per day, 7 days a week. The bulb averaged more like 4 hours a day, but should've lasted a lot longer than it did. As to the lighting, it was pretty good warm light, however on all 3 brightness settings it wasn't as bright as an incandescent 50/100/150w bulb.

Too tall for lamp shade "harp"
These lightbulbs are too tall to fit in my lamp. I have two medium sized lamps from restoration hardware. They have a harp for the lamp shade. But this bulb is so tall I can’t get the harp over the bulb. Its at least one inch taller than a normal bulb. Also, the 3 way switch didn’t work. I only had the same brightness no matter what setting I used. I am returning this freakishly huge bulb!

Does it's job
Good lightbulb. The 3 levels work well, though it sometimes takes a moment for the light to come on after I've turned the knob, so for a while I thought the lowest setting didn't work. I used it to replace an incandescent bulb and there was very little difference in light level or quality. It's accurate when it says it's a warm white. It's definitely more money than I want to spend on a single lightbulb, but the lamp it's in has sentimental value so I was willing to buy 1. I've had it in for a few months now and it's still functioning strong, and this lamp had a habit of burning through incandescent bulbs so I was pleasantly surprised. Their standard LED bulbs are also great, and I do buy those on a regular basis.

Do not buy this
Bought 2. They Flicker so subtly that you might think you're going crazy. Took me days to figure it out. Doesn't matter which brightness level. I've always associated GE with low quality and I wasn't disappointed. I put 12 LED Sylvania bulbs around the house including the fixture that flickered with the GE bulb and they were all flawless.

I use this light in the children's playroom/homework area, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions on the light are used for different actives the kids require for lightly. It is perfect for their homework hour. It is more than power-efficient and more than brighter than I was expecting. It does not even compare to compacted fluorescent-lighting tubes. I highly recommend the GE, Relax soft white hd 50-100-150watt equivalent 3way LED.

The three different brightness settings work well and provide ample light even at the low setting. The bulb lights instantly and is always cool to the touch.

The bulb works great! I can adjust the brightness with the 3-way option and the glow is soft, not over powering in the room.

This has excellent color, not too white or harsh on the eyes. When you turn it on it starts at 100 watts then to 150 and down to 50. Seems a bit out of order, buy that's OK. Will purchase more for all my lamp!
