Some carriers include integrated or removable wheels plus an ergonomic handle so the loaded basket can be rolled and maneuvered off the vehicle, simplifying loading and unloading.

Cargo mats and liners are commonly made from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) or rubber. Some listings specify automotive-grade TPE, while others list rubber constructions.

Cargo liners often have raised perimeter edges (about 1.5"–1.75" high) and channeling grooves to contain liquids. They’re typically easy to clean—wipe down or hose off as needed.

There are vehicle-specific liners that are laser-measured for particular model years and universal trim-to-fit mats that can be cut or trimmed to match many vehicles.
