Single-person loungers and chairs are designed for one user. Inflatable platforms are sized for small groups — commonly accommodating about 3–8 people, depending on the platform’s dimensions.
Stability is improved by contoured shapes, internal reinforcements (sometimes described as inner springs) and reinforced edges. Cooling or venting holes are sometimes included in designs to help balance. Easier boarding comes from accessories and hardware such as detachable soft rope ladders, reinforced D-rings and anchor hooks for secure mooring.
Inflatable platforms often include a hand pump, detachable rope ladder, anchor rope and hooks, a maintenance/repair kit and a storage bag. Loungers and chairs commonly come with a carry or storage bag and sometimes include cup holders or small accessories like a headrest.
Many floats and loungers are collapsible or foldable, dry quickly and pack into a carry bag for travel. Inflatable platforms deflate and pack into a provided storage bag, making them compact for transport and off-season storage.
