TetraPond algae-control products target common pond algae, including green water (suspended algae), string and hair algae, and blanketweed.

Use 10 mL of AlgaeControl per 120 gallons of water. Depending on bottle size, individual bottles provide treatment coverage ranging from about 6,000 to 12,000 gallons.

A pond water clarifier works by binding free-floating particles and contaminants into larger clumps that either sink to the bottom or are captured by the pond’s filtration system, quickly improving clarity.

Dosage is one capful (10 mL) per 50 gallons of water. The product recommends re-dosing every four weeks to maintain clarity, or more frequently if the water becomes cloudy.
