Former Target team members can use The Work Number® for most employment verification needs.
You can:
- View your employment data
- Review your past income details
- See which verifiers accessed your data in the last two years
- Request an official verification letter on Target letterhead through the Letters Center
Access your employment information
Former Target team members can use The Work Number® to review their own employment and income information.
Go to The Work Number to log in or create an account.
In The Work Number, you can review the Employment Data Report for:
- Past employment details
- Income details
- A list of verifiers who accessed your data in the last two years

Former Target team members who need an official employment verification letter on Target letterhead can request one through the Letters Center in The Work Number®.
Before sending other employment documents
Many verifiers will not accept other proof of employment unless the information comes directly from The Work Number®.
Check with the lender, landlord, employer, or other verifier before sending other documents.
