Alexandria If you are in the market for a mid-level gaming laptop, this one definitely deserves a look. On the outside it looks sleek as a gaming rig should. The lime green accents really pop out. Don't expect it to be the lightest laptop out there, the hardware required to make it run the way it does definitely adds a bit of bulk. Not enough to be an inconvenience but if you value lighter, smaller form factor laptops over gaming power you will notice. The graphics quality is excellent and the colors are vivid which adds to the experience while gaming, editing photos, or streaming videos/ movies. As for gaming power, I tested multiple titles including Doom (the newer one, not the original but I am convinced it would run that too), Portal, and Spyro: Reignited Trilogy among others. I experienced no severe framerate drops on any of these games at all, even running with high graphics settings. It can run a little warm at times but this did not affect performance in my testing. Battery life is acceptable but I recommend keeping it plugged in to a power source if at all possible while gaming. My main complaint would have to be the storage space. There is not a lot of room to store files right out of the box. If you want to install a library of games you may find yourself having to delete some to make room for others quite often. There is a fix for this, however, as this model looks to have an extra bay to install a 2.5 inch hard drive. While that is a nice touch, it is an extra investment to make after buying the computer. Overall I recommend this product if you are interested in gaming on a budget, but if you do decide to buy one I suggest looking into purchasing an extra hard drive. Overall, this is a great laptop and would definitely recommend (I already have to a friend)
