Not sure if it's me or if the recipe has changed. I haven't had these in years but they're not nearly as good as I remember. I used to be able to eat these straight out of the can like chips, they were THAT good. These just didn't cut it. I also noticed the container is plastic now and not the metal can that it used to come in so I really think they changed the recipe... or maybe I just picked up the wrong ones?

I bought this today (11/29/2025) and didn’t notice until I opened it at home that it’s rancid and already expired in August, on 8/5/2025. I’m not the first reviewer to experience this, so it’s clearly an ongoing issue they haven’t addressed.

Bad taste
I kept seeing if I could find any yummy onions but to many onions I am trying are just the worst and the only ones that taste good are the ones that are better for cooking products that are better than other brands that taste like plastic spoons and they don’t smell as nice as other products like apples, oranges or tomatoes but these are just some disgusting chips that taste like burnt plastic and are gross but not really thioridazine’s taste!

I’ve been buying this product for years, but the quality has diminished. I just purchased a few more and the quality has changed drastically. It is now EXTREMELY salty and greasy! Barely any onion taste.. just tastes like bland greasy salt now. Please change it back to the old recipe!
