Q: What color is the mercury glass? Silver or Gold?
A: It's silver and very reflective, like a mirror.
submitted bymjm - 6 years agoA: Hi Barbara - the lamps have a silver mercury glass look. The warm gold tones you see are from when the bulb is illuminated and the glass picks up warmer color tones from the bulb. Hope that helps! Thank you for your question!

Q: It is not flat at the top where the shade screws on and the shade is lopsided on both of my new lamps. Any suggestions?
A: Hi - the shade should sit on the lamp harp, the part with the two arms, and is then held in place by the finial, which screws onto the top of the harp post. You should be able to adjust the harp and the tension of the finial to get the shades to sit level. If you are having issues our customer service experts will be happy to assist you. Just reach out to them through your Target account and they can help you out.

Q: Is the total height of each lamp, with shade attached, approximately 32"?
A: Hi - no, each of the lamps is 21 3/4'' high overall. The shades by themselves are 10 1/2'' high, but the total height for the lamps is 21 3/4'' high. Thanks for the question!

Q: do these lamps have 3-way switches?
A: Hi there - no, these lamps just have regular on-off socket switches, not 3-way switches. However, if you want 3-way functionality, we'd suggest using a tabletop line dimmer with the lamps. With the dimmer you can set the light output to whatever level you want, giving you far more flexibility than 3-way sockets. Hope that helps! Thank you for the question.
