For the price you would expect it to be a little thicker which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars. It’s a jansport so your paying for the name. Overall it’s a decent backpack but the pen/pencil slots it has is useless. It’s in a tough spot to get them in and out.

It's a good backpack but the quality is not as great as it used to be years ago. I feel the quality of the newer Jansport backpacks is a little bit cheaper than what they used to be back when I used to buy this brand. I feel like the prices are ok but the quality needs to definitely be better. Overall my son is happy with his backpack now let's see how long it will last him.

The color of the pink bow one is way off - we were expecting a semi darker pink and this is more of a bubble gum pale pink, almost neon ish. Also, material did not feel like the usual sturdy Jansport backpacks - it felt more thin than normal to me.

The pink backpack with bows is NOT the color shown in the picture. The picture shows a darker pink. The backpack I received is a very light pink and will show dirt much quicker. The quality of the backpack is good.
