If you're expecting to be able to make a huge maze, this is not the set you want but if all you need is a small set this is perfect. It doesn't take up much space but has a wide variety of ways it can be arranged. My kids and I all enjoyed it. It does include larger sized marbles so I wouldn't recommend it for any children that might try to swallow it. For older kids though this is a good small set.

But when we got it going, it was a lot of fun. The only thing is that the clear plastic “slides” are cheap plastic. It does make you want more so you can build something big and intricate. I do recommend these for some indoor fun.

I like that there are endless ways to combine them into different mazes which is different from ours. Also, we already have these full sized tiles so the kids knew how the pieces work. They don't fit with the original sizes Fair warning, these instructions aren't very clear so you need some creativity to build these. But once the kids get it the go off and let their creativity soar.

We were given the original tiles as a gift when he was a toddler and they were hands down his favorite toy to play with and kept him occupied for hours. He is now 8 years old and those type of toys aren’t the first thing he looks for anymore :( BUT he loves putting things together and creating so when I saw the same company came out with a marble run, I knew it would be a hit. He LOVES putting this together and it keeps him entertained for a few hours. So much better than watching tv or playing video games!

We had so much fun building a little marble course, and it was easy to put together and stayed together pretty well! My only complaint is that the magnetic pieces didn't stay on very well but those pieces are more decorative, and didn't affect the actual track.

I do wish it came with actual instructions to build instead of just photos. If you don't build it well enough the magnets will begin to slip and it will fall apart. The moment the marbles went in the entire thing shifted. But was still a fun time to race marbles down the track!

The mini tiles comes in a small box with a pamphlet containing some design ideas. It’s easy for kids to build on their own. My 7 year old was able to build on his own, different designs and had fun with it. The tiles were not too small and easy to build. The tiles were brightly colored and looked very attractive. Definitely a creative choice for kids toys.
