Do not attempt to assemble this yourself if you have no experience. The instructions are poor. We have a fir floor on our porch so I am familiar with this wood. The pieces we were sent have knots everywhere. Drill holes were not there or not drilled through completely. We were shorted a few screws. You will need clamps for part of the assembly or have a third person to help. I put waterproof inside and out before assembly
