    Easy to digest protein

    I was looking for a protein powder that would be gentle on my stomach, and pea protein is the suggestion I got the most. This is very easy to digest, but the flavor is very earthy. It’s pretty easy to cover if I mix up with orange juice in a blender cup or fruit in blender.

    Quality product I reorder over and over

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very happy with this protein powder and have been using it for several years. I prefer the unflavored due to food sensitivities and this way I can flavor it any way I prefer, often adding green tea to it.

    Not my favorite product

    Swanson emailed and asked me to rate this, so here it is. Generally, I think NOW supplements are great - good quality and a great price. This pea protein however is not a product I like. A full scoop of it in my usual smoothie thickens the entire drink and tastes like sawdust. So now, just to use it up, I only put about 1/4 - 1/3 of a scoop. Not recommended by me.

    Good veggie protein source

    I don’t love the taste, but making a smoothie with frozen bananas disguises it well enough, and the protein punch is definitely worth it.

    Pea protein

    We have been using this for a few years and would not use anything else. It dissolves easily. Like the amount of protein it contains as we use it with almond milk which has no protein.

    Wonderful smoothie plant protein

    We all need protein. For those of us wanting and needing protein from plants this is used in my baby spinach, baby kale, wild blueberry and a few Bing cherries every day. I use 2 huge Tablespoons full and 22 oz of pure water a few tsp of fiber powder and it makes a quart jar full I drink 8 oz a day with some Just tart cherry juice 1/4 c some Pomegranate juice a dash of 100% grape juice a tsp of aloe vera juice and sometimes liposome Vitamin C and elderberry juice, 1/4 tsp Emu oil and sometimes a dash of cayenne pepper. The baby kale and baby spinach is about 2 c each. I wash off with grapefruit seed mixed with water spray. A kind dietician told me the basic recipe 3/4 cup fruit, frozen. I've had more energy than I've had for 30 years.

    Great Shakes

    Good Product and great value. I have a oprotein shake a couple of times a week for breakfast and always make an extra to have in place of an evening snack. Mixes well with milk or water - add fruit - and yum!
