This actually felt so comfortable on, and unlike most swim skirts, this actually looked okay as well. I'm 150 5'7 and got a size 10 (waist is a true 29). I returned another suit (with a high waist moderate coverage bottom) for another one of these. FInally a swim skort/skirt that fit amazing.

I am typically a size 4 in jeans, but I ordered a size 6 in the swimsuit only because I hate swimsuit bottoms when they fit too tight. The 6 feels perfect. I'm 5'9 135 lb. I love this bottom

I bought one of these skirts last year and loved it so I bought two more patterns this year. Have already worn them on a couple of trips. They wash well and I like the length of them, they are short so they don't look too frumpy

I am just shy of 5'4" 150 pounds and 54 years old. This skirt is fabulous and flattering comfortable. I also wear the skirt out in the summer for casual occasions with a nice top. It has good coverage in the front and the back But isn't too heavy or long. I could probably go with a 10 or medium, but I don't like my bathing suits to be too tight fitting so the 12th is perfect for me.

Love love the black and gold. It's not really a gold and the metallic threads are not prominent. But, it adds just enough jazz to make it really cute! It's very neutral so can use with any color. I have learned over the years that Venus swim bottoms are true to size. From other manufacturers I usually ordered 2 sizes up because they would be sooo tight. Venus, I can either wear my normal size, small or only size up one extra size. Reference: I am 5'3" 150 lbs. I have slim hips.

I really wanted this skirt to work but it runs small. I ordered the same size as the bikini bottoms but this skirt is tight. You can clearly see the bottom elastic lines thru the skirt which looks unattractive. Returned it as not sure that sizing up would have fixed the problem.

I loved this pattern! It's beautiful! Planning a trip to Aruba in Feb … I love the skirt sizing as it big enough to hang lower on my hips rather than pinching around my waist! I feel bathing suit bottoms are often made too tight and it makes you look like you have a roll as it cuts in! The top fits perfectly as well. I only wish there was more options to mix and match and also a cover up to match!! I read a lot of reviews saying the waist band was tight.. wear it on your hips as more of a bikini fit!! It's perfect that way!!

This is a basic swim skirt. It has a decent rise, so it's comfortable. Just enough skirt to cover. I like having a couple different bottoms to go with my goddess tankinis so I can create different looks.
Waist band is much bigger than the rest of the skirt

I love the fabric color, but this is the first swim skirt I have ordered that the waist band is much bigger than it should be. I returned one to exchange for another (thinking it was just defective), but the second one came back with a loose waist too. I have always ordered a size 10 in every swim skirt from Venus before, and they have fit perfectly, so I am not sure what happened on this one. I wouldn't recommend it due to sizing issues.

It is beautiful and vibrant. But I am trying to cover my legs and it is a bit shorter than I was hoping. I also wish on the description they would add the measurements for length to each size. I am 5'2, 125lbs and ordered a size 10. The length is 11 1/2 inches. In normal sizes I would be a size 6. I am going to keep it, just wish it was a tad longer. If you are wearing a skirt at the beach you are probably trying to hide a little for modesty.

I ordered 3 of these skirts in the same size but different colors and patterns. They all fit VERY differently- there are differences of inches in the waist / hips when you lay them flat, but all labeled a size 10. They are beautiful but it's hard to order when the quality and size is inconsistent. It also seems like their sizes rum extremely small.
